National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD) had a robust engagement and made its presence known by showcasing some of its Research and Development (R&D) products during the Ministerial Health Sector Media Engagement at the Ladi Kwali Hall of Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Abuja on the 7^th of December, 2020.

The Media Engagement which aims to present the vision of President Muhammadu Buhari for Primary Health Care (PHC), has the theme, “President Buhari’s Health Sector Next Level Agenda: The Path to Universal Health Coverage”.

The Director General of NIPRD, Dr Obi Adigwe delivered a world-class presentation to highlight the Institute’s achievements and contribution to the Health Sector. In the presentation, he outlined partnership opportunities which will enable increase collaborative efforts with a view to improving drug discovery, delivery and development for health, industry and economic growth.
